First Ride

Well, my summer riding was supposed to begin a few weeks ago, but the weather was not cooperating.  It rained a lot and was very cold here in Chicago.  So I had to drive to work for 5 days of work, but yesterday, my sixth day, I rode my bike to work for the first time of the year.  It was an exhausting ride, I had to go a mile and a half into the wind, so it wasn't too fun haha.  But it ended up working out good and I felt great about getting some exercise and saving gas!  Yesterday I rode for a total of 3.365 miles in 18:36 with a max speed of 22.4 mph and an average speed of 11.2 mph.  It was a great feeling, you all should try it!
